Check your post for every platform at once
Write or paste your post. Each card shows whether it fits that platform's character limit, how many hashtags you've used, and how your image will be cropped.
What the checks mean
The limits are the maximum post lengths each platform allows: 280 characters for a standard post on X, 2,200 for an Instagram caption, 3,000 for a LinkedIn post and 63,206 for a Facebook post. Text past the limit is shown crossed out in red.
Long posts are folded behind a “more” link in the feed, so the first line or two do most of the work. The grey text shows roughly where that fold can fall. The exact point varies by app and screen size.
Instagram allows up to 30 hashtags on a post. The image boxes show the shape each feed usually displays, so you can see what gets cropped.
